HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT

In this role, you will work with the Technical Services team to collaborate as a team member on technology initiatives, projects support and implement any ICT related projects to modernize and develop Bondwell’s ICT brands like HP, Dell, Logitech, APC Schneider etc. [to name a few], ensuring that all IT Peripherals, printers, interactive whiteboards, security devices and other hardware are working to their maximum potential; ensuring that all problems are fixed quickly and efficiently. Other responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining, installing and repairing technological equipment e.g., routers, peripheral devices, printers, SMART Boards, projectors, A/V equipment.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions and determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
  • Installing well-functioning LAN/WAN and other networks and manage components (servers, IPs etc.)
  • Carry out installation for various access control devices, various CCTV camera; types both Analog and Digital IP systems and program Access control Panels and Systems.
  • Identifying current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
  • Where necessary, assist the Technical Services Manager update SOPS and training manuals for new and revised software and hardware.
  • Managing positive relationships with our technical support providers, vendors and follow up with customers and users to ensure complete resolution of issues
  • Research equipment, software or other solutions and recommend improvements and actively participate in online forums and list-serves in support of technical and strategic goals.

ROLE REQUIRMENTS

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years’ work experience as a qualified ICT technician with knowledge of world renown brands such i.e., HP, Dell, Samsung, Hikvision, CyberPower etc.
  • Able to diagnose cause of technical malfunction or failure of equipment, replace faulty equipment and taken to the technical workshop for repair.
  • Ability to build a sustainable and reliable relationship with walk-in and B2Bcustomers
  • Good technical working knowledge of network and IT, General Networking Protocols, General Networking Software
  • Must have experience of Hardware Maintenance and Software installation and Configuration 
  • A clear understanding of NTFS file and folder permissions

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant Qualifications in Computer Science, Networking/ IT Engineering or equivalent;
  • A+ and Network + and Linux+ Certification required
  • Any additional relevant diploma or certification from learning portals such as HP, Intel, Dell etc. will be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent computer skills with experience on the MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project, Helpdesk Ticketing
  • Experience troubleshooting systems with an aptitude for problems solving and excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Proficient with MAC and OS
  • Ability to understand user requirements and to assess real needs, likely outcomes, and determine cost-effective solutions.
  • Ability to understand and brainstorm creative solutions to complex problems is essential
  • Must have strong time management skills and work productively with minimal supervision

SKILLS

  • Ability to diagnose faulty tools and perform repairs.
  • Comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
  • Ability to effectively present information to an internal department
  • Possess good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment;
  • Hold a valid driving license with good driving skill and experience.
  • Ability to leverage technology for communications and managing own performance
