About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can join our team as HELPDESK ASSISTANT. In this role, you will provide service support to customers, client and staff members, troubleshooting problems, assisting with day to day office administration related tasks.
- Attend to all incoming calls and other communications.
- Receive customer jobs and create tickets using appropriate technical procedures.
- Update customers and do follow ups on the status of their job within the set guidelines and timeframe.
- Dispatch customer items using proper technical dispatch procedure.
- Maintain proper housekeeping by ensuring the helpdesk area is kept clean and tidy always
- Ensure that all required information is correctly entered into the system and all required documents filed.
- Handle petty cash
- Update staff attendance register on a daily basis.
- Ensure all staff time cards/leave forms/medical certificate is sent to payroll as required with all information filled correctly and appropriate approval obtained.
About the Person
The individual we seek for this role must have the following:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Office Administration and/or IT or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in Administration / IT Helpdesk
- Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
